Michele Wesen Bryant’s latest fashion endeavor is a beau­ti­fully laid-​out, compre­hensive guide for fashion designers and enthu­siasts of all levels. As a former student of her teaching, I can attest firsthand to the precision and passion that she brings to her work, and am pleased to see that the same qual­ities have been applied to the creation of this newest book. Fashion Drawing expertly blurs the line between textbook and art book with its author­i­tative combi­nation of compre­hensive tech­nical infor­mation and taste­fully edited examples by many well-​known and up-​and-​coming designers, artists and illus­trators. While I find myself referring to it more than any other text I use in class, I also find myself referring to it for my own illus­tration jobs; it’s that useful and inspiring.
